Approved by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, the Undergraduate Degree Program of Animation jointly held by Hubei Institute of Fine Arts and Hanseo University started enrolling in 2013. The planned enrollment is 120 students (in China); the length of schooling is four years and the tuition is RMB 40,000 yuan per year.
The teaching of the program is on Canglongdao Campus of Hubei Institute of Fine Arts. According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, during the four-year study period, some core courses will be taught by teachers from Hanseo University. Students spend the first two years on intensive Korean language learning and specialized course learning, and the second two years on specialized course learning. An undergraduate diploma and a bachelor’s degree will be issued by Hubei Institute of Fine Arts to students in the program who complete the courses specified in the teaching plan and pass related examinations .
Students in the program who achieve excellent academic performance, obtain Level 3 and above in the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) or pass the Korean proficiency assessment test organized by Hanseo University, and whose academic performance meet the admission standards set by Hanseo University can apply to study animation in Hanseo University for two years after two-year studying China; those who complete all the courses at both Hubei Institute of Fine Arts and Hanseo University and pass the examinations will receive a bachelor’s degree issued by Hanseo University and an undergraduate diploma and a bachelor’s degree by Hubei Institute of Fine Arts.
Admission principle: applicants shall participate in the specialized examination of art organized by Hubei Institute of Fine Arts and take the National Entrance Examination for Ordinary Institutions of Higher Education of China. The admission objects, application standards and related policies and regulations are subject to the “Regulations on Admission of Ordinary Undergraduates of Hubei Institute of Fine Arts for 2020”.
